Current research project for my Master's thesis. Using survey and interviews to collect qualitative and quantitative data to determine if current technologies serve the LGBTQ+ community needs, as it relates to health information seeking and health care services, and how can their experiences with these technologies can be improved.

CSC522 HCI Course
Group Project Team Member
PathShadow an emergency application, developed at every step with input from potential users and what they want and need from an emergency mobile app.
Our team used a variety of user centered research including online surveys, card sorts, interviews, user evaluations, task centered walk throughs and heuristic evaluations.

Using the data collected through our user centered research we created a Low Fidelity prototype using draw.io, we revised it after user evaluations and after the task centered walk throughs we were able to create a Medium Fidelity Prototype using JustInMind.com.

CIS517 Social Computing Course
Group Project Team Member
The purpose of this project was to conduct a comparative study of international and domestic university students’ social media preferences and uses according to the network tie strength and location of the audience. As a team of international and domestic students we thought it would be interesting to see if and how social media preferences and uses play out between the two groups.

Independent Research Project
The network of roads from Coba may be more extensive than previously suggested. This paper will examine the evidence for the importance of Coba as a major center in the Yucatan in a wide-ranging exchange network in the region during the Classic and Terminal Classic periods.
