Absolutely must include:

People who live in areas prone to natural disasters (tornados, hurricanes, flooding, fires)

People whose loved ones live or work in areas prone to natural disasters

People who want to easily alert their loved ones that they are okay or need help

People who want to be able to easily alert emergency services of their location and that they need help

People who bike, walk or jog alone

People who use public transportation

People wanting to secretly track others without their knowledge
Prioritized List of Tasks
Absolutely must include
-
“Call 911” button
-
“Help Me” button that allows users to broadcast a “help” text message with location information to emergency services and/or specified contact list

“I am safe” button to send a user defined “I am safe” message to a user-specified contact list
-
Send current location to user-specified contact list
-
Customizable to specific alerts (tornado versus thunderstorm)
-
When an EAS alert is broadcast for the area the application automatically tracks user’s location until the alert is lifted.

Ability to disable application during an EAS warning or at any other time.

List of safe locations to go to in the event of an emergency

Current EAS status and weather information including radars.

Allow specified others to check user’s location

Allow certain contacts to enter address to see if user is near it (without disclosing users actual location).

Notify loved ones outside the area that an EAS alert has been signaled where you are at.

“Follow me” option to turn on tracking even when there is no EAS alert

Be able to connect and collect data from wearable Bluetooth devices
